"..Let us make man in our image, like us: and let him have rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every living thing which goes flat on the earth." — Genesis 1:26
Daniel's name means God is my judge, and in Daniel 7 and 8 are the complete diagnostic of what happens inside any consciousness that cycles through beast-states, fragments under achieved power, allows a false I AM to dominate, and then — after the full enforcement arc completes — returns to the courtroom where the Ancient of Days was always seated, waiting for the correct filing. Genesis 1 states man is to have dominion over the self and it's many impulses and drives that are symbolically represented by animals in the Bible.
The governing framework is set by Genesis 1:26 — "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness" — Elohim (the internal Judges and Rulers) establishing identity as the primary creative unit. What follows in Daniel is this same courtroom, rendered in visionary architecture.
Daniel 7: The Four Beasts and the Ancient of Days
The Setting: Night, Sea, Wind
"Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed." — Daniel 7:1 BBE
In a similar style to the story of Daniel and the goat and the ram, YHVH/LORD is in the night state — the unguarded, turbulent field of consciousness. The sea being stirred by four winds is not external geography. It is the undifferentiated inner life churned by competing I AM assumptions — Genesis 1:2 rendered as vision: chaos before the creative word is spoken.
The Four Beasts: Four Dominant I AM Filings
Each beast rising from the sea is a dominant identity state that YHVH/LORD has occupied or is capable of occupying. They are Elohim-enforced outcomes of a particular Ehyeh/I AM. Each one carries a name-nature that the narrative merely demonstrates (Thread 8).
Beast 1 — The Lion with Eagle's Wings
"The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I kept on looking till its wings were pulled off, and it was lifted up from the earth and made to take its place on two feet like a man, and the heart of a man was given to it." — Daniel 7:4 BBE
YHVH/LORD is in the state of sovereign pride — majestic, predatory, aerial. The assumed I AM: I AM the apex identity, above all others. Elohim enforces this state until the wings are stripped. The stripping is not punishment — it is mechanical correction. An over-elevated I AM that claimed dominion without grounded identity is amended by Elohim. The beast is brought to its feet and given a human heart: the name-nature shifts from pure predator to humanised ruler, completing a reversal (Thread 5) within the engine itself.
Beast 2 — The Bear with Three Ribs
"And there was another beast, a second, like a bear; and it was lifted up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth: and they said to it, Up, make a meal of much flesh." — Daniel 7:5 BBE
YHVH/LORD in the state of insatiable appetite. The assumed I AM: I AM lack, I AM hunger. Elohim enforces perpetual consumption as the lived outcome. The three ribs are prior identities already consumed but not integrated — old states absorbed without union. The command to devour is not external instruction; it is Elohim faithfully upholding the statute of the filed identity. Thread 7 is active here — a misfiled I AM that does not merely miss the mark but legislates lack into the fabric of experience.
Beast 3 — The Leopard with Four Wings and Four Heads
"After this I saw another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the beast had also four heads; and power was given to it." — Daniel 7:6 BBE
YHVH/LORD in the state of fragmented speed — darting between multiple identities simultaneously. The assumed I AM: I AM all things at once. Four heads with four wings is Thread 4 inverted — not the Shepherd gathering the Twelve into one fold, but consciousness scattering into four simultaneous rulers with no unified I AM beneath them. Power is given, but it is divided power. No single Ehyeh/I AM governs. The leopard's speed is the rapidity with which this state captures territory — but the territory is unstable because Legion has not been gathered.
Beast 4 — The Dreadful Beast with Ten Horns
"After this, in the night visions, I saw a fourth beast, very troubling and full of fear, and very strong; and it had great iron teeth: it was devouring and breaking in pieces, and crushing under its feet what was left; and it was different from all the beasts before it; and it had ten horns." — Daniel 7:7 BBE
YHVH/LORD in its most consolidated tyrannical state — all prior fragmentation compressed into raw dominance. The ten horns are the full plurality of inner governors (Thread 4). The little horn that arises and uproots three is the critical mechanism: a competing Ehyeh/I AM filing — a sub-identity within the plurality that claims supreme governance and overrides three of Elohim's existing enforcement structures. The great things it speaks are identity claims — loud, repeated I AM statements attempting to overwrite the established ruling of the courtroom. This is Thread 7 at full force: a misfiled I AM that does not merely miss the mark but actively legislates against the blueprint.
The Ancient of Days: The Original Statute
"I kept looking till the seats of authority were placed, and one of great age took his seat: his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like clean wool; his seat was flames of fire and its wheels burning fire. A stream of fire was flowing and coming out from before him: a thousand thousands were his servants, and ten thousand times ten thousand were waiting before him: the judge took his seat and the books were open." — Daniel 7:9–10 BBE
The Ancient of Days is the original statute within consciousness — the undiluted identity prior to all beast-states, uncontaminated by accumulated filings. Elohim here is the full assembly of internal judges operating at maximum capacity. The books being opened are the complete record of every I AM filing ever made. Elohim does not judge by preference — it reads the record.
The fire is not punitive; it is the mechanism of enforcement, consuming only what is inconsistent with the ruling identity. White garments, white wool: the name-nature of this state is purity of assumption — an I AM that has not been adulterated by fear, appetite, or fragmentation. The throne on wheels is mobile within consciousness — it is not fixed to a moment in time or a circumstance. It moves through every state and every assumed identity.
The Son of Man: The Unified I AM
"I saw in the night visions, and there came with the clouds of heaven one like a son of man, and he came to the one of great age, and they took him near before him. And there was given to him authority and glory and a kingdom; so that all peoples, nations, and languages were his servants: his rule is a rule for ever, which will not come to an end, and his kingdom is one which will never be put in destruction." — Daniel 7:13–14 BBE
The Son of Man is Genesis 1:26 fulfilled within individual consciousness. YHVH/LORD moves through the clouds — transitional, ascending, leaving the beast-states. The assumed I AM: I AM the Son of Man — the fully humanised, fully unified identity. Not a beast. A man. Thread 4 resolved: the Shepherd arrived at the fold, the Twelve gathered, Legion dissolved.
The clouds signal the Thread 3 mechanism: leaving the beast-states (old familiar identities), cleaving to the new I AM, Elohim enforcing the One Flesh union permanently. All inner nations — every voice, every fragment — become subject to this one assumed identity. This is YHVH/LORD presenting the finalised, clean I AM filing before the full bench of internal Judges and receiving the verdict: rulership that will not pass away.
The Saints and the Duration of the False Filing
The saints of the Most High are the aligned inner voices — the sheep of Thread 4, the unified plurality of Elohim operating under the correct I AM — who inherit the permanent kingdom once the fragmenting beast-identities are dissolved. The little horn making war against the saints is the competing sub-identity — the misfiled I AM — suppressing the quieter, truer self-knowledge within the plurality.
"And he will say words against the Most High, and will put down the saints of the Most High, hoping to make changes in times and laws; and they will be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time." — Daniel 7:25 BBE
Time and times and half a time is not a calendar. It is the duration of a misfiled I AM's enforcement — a complete cycle (time), doubled (times), then halved (and half a time) — signalling a state that overextends, multiplies its error, then begins to collapse before the court reasserts the original statute.
Daniel 8: The Ram, the Goat, and the Little Horn
The Ram with Two Horns: Sequential Identity Assumption
"Then lifting up my eyes, I saw, and there before the water-passage was a male sheep with two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. I saw the male sheep pushing to the west and to the north and to the south; and no beast was able to keep its place before him, and no one was able to take his people out of his power; but he did whatever his pleasure was, and became great." — Daniel 8:3–4 BBE
YHVH/LORD in the state of consolidated dual-authority — two horns, two governing I AM voices in partial hierarchy. The second horn (later, higher) is the amended filing that supersedes the original assumption. The name-nature of the ram is accumulated authority through sequential identity assumption. Elohim enforces unopposed expansion in all directions.
The ram pushes west, north, and south — but not east. East in Scripture is always the direction of origin (the Garden is eastward, Genesis 2:8). The ram's power does not extend back to the source. This is the boundary of a self-generated I AM: it can dominate the present field but cannot access the original creative ground.
The He-Goat: The Singular Focused I AM
"And as I was looking, a he-goat came from the west over the face of all the earth, without touching the earth: and the goat had a great horn between his eyes. And he came to the male sheep with the two horns, whom I had seen by the water-passage, and came rushing at him in the heat of his power." — Daniel 8:5–6 BBE
YHVH/LORD in the state of singular, rapid, total dominance. The great horn between the eyes is identity located at the centre of perception — the I AM placed directly within the seat of consciousness. The goat does not touch the earth because a fully assumed I AM does not negotiate with current circumstances. It operates from the imagined, completed state alone.
This is Ask, Believe, Receive at maximum velocity: the goat is already at the Receive stage before the encounter begins. Thread 3 at full force — YHVH/LORD has left the ram-state entirely, assumed the goat-identity completely, and Elohim has no statute preventing the ram's defeat because the new filing supersedes it.
The Great Horn Broken: The Danger of Peak Identity
"And the he-goat became very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and in its place came up four great ones pointing to the four winds of heaven." — Daniel 8:8 BBE
This is the engine's critical warning encoded in narrative. When YHVH/LORD mistakes the manifested outcome for the I AM itself, Elohim has no further statute to enforce. The great horn fulfilled its creative function. At the moment of peak power, if YHVH/LORD rests in the achievement rather than continuing to occupy the I AM, the unified assumption fragments back into the four-headed leopard pattern of Chapter 7.
Four horns to the four winds is Thread 4 fragmentation — the gathered fold scatters again when the Shepherd identity is released. This is not punishment. It is Elohim enforcing the new filing: I AM the achieved result produces fragmentation, because achievement as identity has no generative content. The I AM must remain the living state, not the completed fact.
The Little Horn: The Misfiled I AM Attacking the Blueprint
"And out of one of them came a little horn, which became very great, going to the south and to the east and to the beautiful land… Yes, it made itself great, even as great as the prince of the host, and by it the regular burned offering was taken away, and the place of his holy house was pulled down. And in the place of the regular offering, error was given: and it sent the truth down to the earth, and it did its work and did well." — Daniel 8:9–12 BBE
A sub-identity from within the fragmented four — a voice within the internal plurality that begins as small but escalates its claim. The assumed I AM: I AM comparable to the governing structure itself. Elohim is compelled to enforce this misfiled I AM with devastating consistency.
The regular burned offering taken away is the daily practice of consciously assuming the correct I AM being interrupted. The offering is not ritual. It is the habitual, moment-by-moment renewal of identity assumption — the daily filing with Elohim. When this practice is suspended, Elohim defaults to whatever dominant I AM is present — in this case, the little horn.
"It did its work and did well" — this is not irony. It is the engine operating exactly as designed. Elohim does not evaluate the content of the I AM; it enforces it. A misfiled identity produces its own coherent, internally consistent reality. The courtroom is functioning perfectly — in the wrong direction.
The 2,300 Evenings and Mornings
"How long is the vision to go on — the regular offering and the error which makes waste, the giving of the holy place and the army to be put under foot? And he said to me, For two thousand, three hundred evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be made clean again." — Daniel 8:13–14 BBE
Evening and morning is Genesis 1 language — the creative cycle. Each evening-morning unit is one complete cycle of identity assumption and enforcement. The 2,300 cycles represent the total duration of a misfiled I AM's compounding enforcement before the original statute reasserts. The cleansing of the holy place is not the purification of a building. It is the restoration of the identity-filing mechanism to its proper function — the daily offering resumed, the Blueprint re-presented, Elohim re-aligned with the correct Ehyeh/I AM.
Gabriel: The Clarifying Voice Within
"Make this man to have knowledge of the vision." — Daniel 8:16 BBE
Gabriel's function is structural: the clarifying voice within consciousness — the internal instructor who translates what was seen symbolically into the operational mechanism. Gabriel does not add new content. He decodes the image back to the engine.
The ram is two successive I AM filings in the same consciousness-domain, the second always exceeding the first (the higher horn coming up last). The goat is the single, western, ungrounded I AM that overrides both by velocity of assumption rather than gradual accumulation. The first and most unified assumption is always the most powerful. When it fragments into four, those four successors are the natural consequences of an identity that was never re-filed after manifestation.
"He will even make himself great against the Prince of princes; but he will be broken without hand." — Daniel 8:25 BBE
Without hand is the definitive statement of Elohim's impersonal mechanism. The correction does not come through force, effort, or external intervention. When the misfiled I AM has fully exhausted the statutes that permitted its enforcement — when the 2,300 cycles are complete — Elohim simply ceases to enforce it. The identity collapses under its own incoherence. No one destroys it. The statute supporting it expires.
This is Thread 5 operating at the governmental level: Joseph did not fight his way from pit to palace. YHVH/LORD assumed the palace-identity, and Elohim withdrew enforcement from the pit-state. The little horn is not defeated. The statute supporting it simply runs out.
The Engine in Summary
The entire sweep of Daniel 7 and 8 is the courtroom of consciousness rendered as apocalyptic vision. Elohim enforces every I AM with total impartiality. The Ancient of Days is the original statute-giver. The Son of Man is the proof that Genesis 1:26 is the resolution — Elohim creating man in their image, granting dominion, when YHVH/LORD finally presents the clean, unified, fully human Ehyeh/I AM before the full bench.
The four beasts are not empires. They are the four dominant categories of misfiled identity that any consciousness cycles through. The ram and goat are not kingdoms — they are two modes of I AM assertion, accumulative and singular, and their collision shows the engine's hierarchy. The little horn is not a tyrant. It is what happens when the daily filing is abandoned and a competing sub-identity fills the vacuum Elohim is obligated to enforce.
The visions resolve where Genesis 1:26 begins: Elohim, creating man in their image, granting dominion — once YHVH/LORD presents the correct filing. The courtroom was never closed. The Ancient of Days was always seated. The books were always open.
